The “Cape Argus Cycle Tour” takes place every year at the beginning of March. It is the largest and most beautiful cycle race in the world (35,000 participants) and is very popular both nationally and internationally. The Cape region has a number of wonderful training routes for racing cyclists and mountain bikers, especially at the Cape of Good Hope and in the vineyards of Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Wellington. You start directly at the guest house and are in the vineyards after just 15 minutes.
There are excellent conditions for mountain bikers around Cape Town. Usually starting at a winery, you will find excellent downhill and single tracks that are maintained by MTB clubs. Whether you are a MTB beginner or a die-hard downhill professional – there are trails for everyone in the midst of beautiful nature.
